Reeves has contributed an article to the February '12 issue of Guitar Player Magazine. The article discusses three ideas for providing "twisted" guitar textures based on concepts RG has used on his various recordings. In other news, Reeves is apparently using his powers for time travel (as per the photo accompanying the article)...

06.26.11 - NEWS! Just received some updates from Reeves that he has asked to be passed on. The first are three albums featuring Reeves to be download-only releases through iTunes, CDBaby, and other online retailers: - The debut album by The Magnificent Others (James Rubin, Reeves Gabrels, Frank Swart, & Marco Giovino) is to be released next week. In addition, Reeves will be involved in three events during the Summer NAMM Show in Nashville: -On Thursday, July 21st, he will be performing for a live DVD shoot at "Boubon Street" for TrueFire; - On Friday, July 22nd, he will be one of the judges for the Guitar Player Superstar competition hosted by Larry Carlton; and - On Saturday, July 23rd, Reeves will perform once again at Muriel Anderson's All Star Guitar Night 06.10.11 - The July 2011 issue of Guitar Player should be called the unofficial Reeves issue. Reeves makes three appearances in the magazine between pages 26-41. 07.31.09 - Reeves is playing guitar tonight with Jed Davis at The Bitter End in New York City tonight. The band includes Jed (songs, vocals, keys), Tim Lefevre (bass), Anton Fig (drums) and "a cast of thousands". 8 pm set time.

07.08.09 - Two big news items to announce! The first is the RG&HIF Summer Tour to commence on July 15, 2009, in Asheville, NC. Dates are listed to the right, so look for an appearance that is nearest to you. There is also talk of a Fall '09 tour that will take the band to other parts of the country, so check back often as those dates are scheduled.
